Diary of a Watchmaker
This beautiful 18ct yellow gold American Waltham Watch Co. pocket watch is over 100 years old and has stood the test of time. The Waltham name is a powerhouse that dates back to 1850, an era of horse drawn carriages and gas-lit lamps.
This particular example dates to the early 1900's and is manually hand wound via the stem. It's small size fits neatly into the palm of your hand making it the perfect accessory.
This watch has been well cared for over the years and is in excellent condition particularly the well preserved vine and scroll engraving to the case front and back. I've just finished servicing this Waltham and will have to say goodbye as I return it to the owner.
